Our client, a leading multinational engineering consultancy in Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit dynamic and qualified professionals for the following roles:

Sr. Pipelines Engineer

The primary objective of the jobholder will be to initiate and oversee specific design tasks performed by Engineers related to offshore and onshore pipelines and sub sea systems. Ideal candidate will have sound experience in conceptual, FEED, detailed Engineering and procurement of sub sea pipelines system encompassing following tasks:

Pipeline route selection to optimize costs of new pipelines
Pipeline on-bottom stability analysis, expansion calculations, free span analysis, pipeline fatigue analysis, cathodic protection design.
Pipeline hydraulic analysis, pipeline-sizing calculations
Riser and tie-in spools flexibility analysis
Cost estimating for pipelines and facilities
Pipeline materials specification, MTOs and requisitions

To be selected, you will be a Civil/Mechanical engineering graduate with more than 7 years of consulting experience in conceptual, FEED, detailed design and construction engineering of which at least 5 years should have been in oil & gas industry within the offshore sub sea pipeline industry. Experience in performing design tasks requiring a hands-on focus on sub-sea pipelines; industry standard codes and analysis software; design & construction of offshore pipelines & sub sea facilities; pipeline installation engineering experience is essential.

Based in Abu Dhabi, this is a long-term position.
